There´s a great christmas treasure hunt for baubles going on from now until Dec 21th. Head over to A Winter Fairy Tale  @ Vanity Universe, and collect some baubles. Look inside and outside the shops, look up, look behind …. easy to find, the baubles are bright red! And inside you´ll find … guess what? Right, diamonds … named  Haute Couture :-)

Candace Hudson, designer and owner of Hudson Clothing & Co. as well as of Stained Glass Desires, was so kind to drop me her freebies. Thanks again, Candace, and don´t worry … you are a diamond, too :-)

I seldom wear jewelry, in both lives. Not my cup of tea :-) But sometimes I do, and Candace Hudson has made a very pretty, free set of animated Merry Christmas earrings, choker and a broche. Bling, bling :-)) Nooo … not that annoying sort of bling! … just small, dainty christmas bulbs changing their colors, with cute bows … have a look:

Next we have Victorian Secret, a lovely lingerie in black and red lace. You get bra, low waist panties, corset with bows, high waist panties, stockings with bows and a choker. And you get it for free. Could become seductive holidays :-)

Also, there´s something free for the men.  They get  beautiful Winter Sweaters in red as well as in green and woolpants. I think, I will wear the well textured sweaters with big turtleneck and nice cuffs, too … along with the bulb broche:-)

Look at the thumbs below, please. Men´s freebie is pictured on the wall, it´s the one with a big, red bow on it (look around, there are more pics with bows, and that means freebies!). Merry Christmas jewelry is hidden in a small bulb (sorry for the lady hanging around, she was “away”). Victorian Secret Lingerie (including a nice deco bulb, too)  you get by clicking either the sign or the bulbs above. Also, you can get the men´s sweaters, lingerie, a nice vase and other home decorations, deco bulb and globe lamp next door,  here.  And don´t worry about the reference “group gift”. You don´t need to be a group member, you get your freebie without the group tag :-)

“Laquered red rose” is a freebie by mika in her shop at Dollz Town. The “Set of large feather dance fans in red” isn´t free, I`ve bought it at  mika`s mainstore for the huge amount of 35 Linden! I had a lot of fun while taking the pics. Perhaps, I will get an offer from “Moulin Rouge” ? :-))

Dany Bimbogami – The Winner Takes it All

Let´s start with good news, and if you are interested in bad news scroll down. But if you are easily offended, you better stop scrolling after the pics because I´m a bad girl and I´m complaing about freebies :p

But no complaining about this dress by Dany Bimbogami !  Constellation Dress is the best Christmas-related dollarbie I´ve seen so far. In my humble opionion, of course. Just my 2 cents, of course. Just my personal favorite, okay? :-))

Dany Bimbogami, designer and owner of  Leyda Style, has openend another shop (boutique):  DANY French Touch. You can check out her blog written in french. Sadly, I don´t parlez francaise … I´m more than happy when I am able to express myself in english :-))

Constellation is definitely a robe, and definitely “french touched”. You don´t need jewelry,  you can wear it even without shoes.  That`s french style :-)

As many of you might know I´m living in Vienna. Every year in February there´s a very popular event – The Viennese Opera Ball. I never was there …. whether I´m rich nor I´m beautiful :-)  Tickets are very expensive and hard to get if you don´t belong to the “rich and beautiful section” :-) However, Constellation would be my choice for The Viennese Opera Ball. A shimmering, glimmering, sparkling robe!

We are “spammed” with freebies, dollarbies, bargains, sales, hunts, group gifts  ……. Christmas is around the corner, everybody is in a rush … buying  presents, decorating their homes, preparing Christmas dinner, baking cookies … same procedure as every year iRL and iSL (just with a few differences). I don´t feel comfortable with all this Christmas ado. I prefer “a merry little Christmas” :-)

Well, getting really saturated with freebies, getting bored of zillion items in my overcrowded inventory I´ve become very quiet. What to do with all the generous gifts? Do I need it, do I like it? A few of them, of course. But what will I do with all other stuff? What will I do with all those wonderful Christmas-related freebie dresses? I will have to trash it, what a pity. Or store it in a box   … but I´ve found a box named “christmas dresses 2007″ in my inventory a few days ago ….. I know I´m moaning …. ooh, and please there´s no need to point me towards to the Freebie Etiquette … I know the rules! And sometimes I break the rules. I´m of the opinion  it is high on time to overthink the “Freebie Culture”. Does it make any sense to hunt like crazy …  joining 4 hunts at the same time? Hustling from one Advent Calendar to another, from one Christmas tree to another ……. just to fill up our inventories with tons of  free stuff, just to be happy for … erm … maybe one hour? How many free or almost free items from last Christmas do you still remember? And it´s not only Christmas ….. it`s been the same with  Halloween, Thanksgiving …  will be followed by New Year`s freebies, carnival, Easter …… omg! Okay, I know it´s just my boring blah blah blah blah :-)) But is this really the right way?? Well, one of the Freebie hunter/blogger rules is “Take it, or leave it” …… I´m more on the “leave it-side” at the moment.  And now I´m quiet again … while picking out some diamonds :-)
